James Lujan to Speak at "Course Projections: Film, Pedagogy, Freedom"

NAIS is proud to sponsor the participation of James Lujan (Taos Pueblo) in an upcoming Wolf Humanities Program Conference on the Penn Campus. Lujan is department chair of Cinematic Aarts and Technology at the  Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He'll speak in the session "Tranmissions" in the morning of this day-long, in person event to be held in the Van Pelt Library. The event (and hospitality) are free and open to the public. The event is organized by the Cinema Studies Department at Penn and The organizers note that all attendees will need to present a photo-ID to enter Van Pelt.
