Audra Simpson to speak in English Department Series

Audra Simpson (Anthropology, Columbia University) will speak on October 16, 2024 as part of the English Department's Indigenous Studies Lecture Series. Her talk "Settler Colonialism: Apologia in Two Acts" will consider the prospect of a new time that she suggests is a time of apology,but one in which the language of care may be seen as still intrinsically violent.
