Dr. Kim Tallbear offers an all-campus lecture - "Beyond Inclusion and Reconciliation To Decolonization in Science and Technology." Dr. Tallbear holds a Ph.D. in the History of Consciousness from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She is a Professor in the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta, and a Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Indigenous Peoples, Technoscience, and Society. She is an enrolled member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate nation, and is descended from the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. She is at Penn this month as the 2023 Provost's Distinguished Visiting Faculty Fellow.
